This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Field Service team and make a difference - you will receive comprehensive training from our colleagues and Thermo Fisher Scientific factory to get you started with your development within Pragolab.

The main focus of the role is Installation, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Instrument Qualification of Mass Spectrometry products within the territory listed above.

A day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with colleagues in our office to efficiently schedule your service visits to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Install Products of Thermo Fisher Scientific from our diverse Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry portfolio, demonstrate instrument specification and instruct customers on use and maintenance.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance and qualifications on customer instruments and help to improve instrument uptime and availability.
  • Detailed preparation and documentation of maintenance and qualification activities to meet regulatory requirements.

Keys to Success:

Education & Experience

  • Professional training or University degree (master/diploma) in Science or mechanical/electronic/medical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in an analytical laboratory is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience with LC/GC/MS - Knowledge of Thermo Fisher Scientific instruments is advantage.
  • Self-organized and efficient way of working.
  • Collaborative nature and positive appearance.
  • Slovak/Czech native speaker with minimum level of English B2.
  • Good hardware and software skills especially of Windows operating systems and applications as well as Microsoft Office package.
  • Ability to travel within the designated area.
  • Valid driving license (Class B)
